Jackets in ANKARA materials!!!

    This is what I want you to know. Don't ever think you are doing yourself or your culture a favor by wearing ANKARA!!! This is who you are. This is what you should be proud of. If a meeting is called internationally and every other soul is on suit & tie, i want you to be on ANKARA!!! You might feel shy and if you are asked, tell them even if you have to create a scene "I'M AFRICAN".
If they can't deal with it well then they can go to hell for all you care. Just because the world is evolving doesn't mean some things (traditional outfits, language and food) should change.
     Do you know that this picture above actually cost $114...why??? is there war (ogun de ni). why so expensive? That should be around #45,000 in Naira. Hehehehe, and some people will still carry that their massive head to order it online or travel to another continent to get a piece or a particular style (because it is designer...anu yin ma semi ke)* clapping hands*...very shameful when you have it in abundance in your country and your continent as a whole. In Nigeria here an ankara should cost between #1000-#3000...if it's more than that maybe there is something attached to it or the *ingredient* for manufacturing is quite expensive. If you are going to leave the country for just a couple of period you can save yourself the stress by buying more than 3 that depends on how often you wear ankara. Please you people should be wearing ankara everywhere...chai!!! Please share!!
